Good evening,
Yes I have managed to do a little craft today! Well, actually, these were started a couple of weeks ago but not finished. I had been trying to come up with some great party favor for this anniversary and I was telling a girlfriend and she said why don't you get a pce of 6" x 6" and roll to a cone and add ribbon. Meanwhile I was trying to be all exotic and do something so out there; but easy is a good way to go, and it was, so thanks Tracey.
Anyway one of my sisters said she would help, I bet she regretted that! I was terrible to her. We were rolling and placing tape on the edge to get it together (she is not a super crafty person, arty, but not crafty) and I should have taken a picture for you. (Being modest of course) mine were all just the right size and shape and my sisters, well, they were all over the place, a really tight one to a really big one. Sounds like Goldilocks and the three bears. Anyway my poor sister took it so well. She said no one would notice and what did it matter as she was helping me. I said I didn't need her help if that is how she was going to make things and that she needed to be neater!!! (Don't worry, it didn't end in tears, we do this to each other all the time). But when I show you the photo you will wonder what I was carrying on about because she was right, you can't tell! Or maybe you can, but it doesn't matter!!
See, all of them together and you can not tell what size they all are, though I better make sure Mum gets the biggest one. I want to fill them all with sugar coated almonds, her favourite.
I used this sentiment that I got from the states (the fairy stamp set) and just used half of the words, as it is all a bit of magic!
And just a couple on there own so you may be able to see better.
Stamp set: Retired, so I won't tease you(maybe I already have so sorry about that)
Card: dsp - soft subtles, very vanilla
Ink: Chocolate chip, pretty in pink (sponging)
Acc: Ribbon and glue dots
Have a lovely week, though I will try harder to do more posts.....

My First Un-Cased Album
Helloooooooo,
Yes I am still here. So sorry, it has been such a busy week and I haven't managed to post. I have been missing my blogging so much and need a craft fix badly. Might have to try and put some time aside tomorrow to craft.
My parents have been married 50yrs on the 11th, November, 2011 at 11am. How amazing is that!! So we are having a big family get together that one of my brothers is organising, which is so sweet. And of course, being a crafty person, my brother asked me if I would organise something to hold a message from us all. Of course I would love to...... So this is what I have come up with, quite proud of myself.
This is the cover of my book, my Mum loves pink and my Dad goes along with whatever my Mum likes.
I love this stamp set and finally got it, love it, love it, love it. Great stamps for scrapbooking and I know I need to get back into that.
My spine. I decided to use brads with some dsp on the inside hiding the pins. Tossed up lots of ideas but I love brads.
The back, but this could change. I still need to get notes and photo's so who knows what could end up happening here!
My first page, I will be using the chocolate as well to put a note in and then a picture or saying on the pink depending on what I get from my siblings.
Thought I would just show you the double pink page as well, this will change also depending on what I get. All the pages have one side that has a pocket so the notes can go inside.
A picture just showing you the heart punch that I am so glad I got, have used it quite a bit lately.
Still the same colour, just the camera on a different angle. Just showing you my first bit of sewing in absolute ages. I sewed all the tops of the pockets down, I was thinking it would be a nice touch!
This is the inside spine, thought I would show you, even though I could have done a little better.
So that is my very first uncased album. I wish I could show you what it would look like after pictures and notes but I think this is going to be a crammed job at the last minute!
Stamp set: Word Play
Card: Chocolate chip, pretty in pink and dsp - subtles
Ink: Chocolate chip and pretty in pink
Acc: Brads, flower brads, embroidery thread, chocolate chip ribbon and pretty in pink ribbon
Tools: Paper piercer and mat, crop-a-dial, heart border punch

My Birthday Card From Stampin' Up
Hi All,
I got such a surprise when I came home. I have been so busy today and it was just the fix I needed.
Isn't this just the most gorgeous card! It is sitting beside my computer and I just love it, love the colours, love everything about it. My birthday is coming up and Stampin' Up are sending demonstrators a card, this year, for their birthdays. I feel very special, and just wanted to share this cute card with you.
Have a great night.......

Father's Day Already!!
Hi everyone,
I had a couple of friends over today and had a lovely time chatting, sorry I did think to take photos but didn't. Next time.... because we had a feast, all low fat off course. So Father's Day is September and that is going to come around so quick, so I thought we would make a little project I found a while back and I am sorry but I didn't write down details of who I got this from, so please forgive me, but when I find you again, I will make a reference. But here is this cute patchwork easel card, which I thought would be great with a photo as it is Father's Day, and they need something to look at on their desk.
Without a photo and also made with different dsp, this one is play date.
Do you like the photo, just gorgeous isn't it. His idea, not mine, but I love it. I love all mini albums and little projects like this all over the place. This one used play date dsp as well.
So you need 4" x 8" card scored at 2" and 4", not that you can see it in the photo.
4" x 4: card same colour for putting your patchwork on and attaching to 2" piece.
3 6/8" x 3 6/8" very vanilla/whisper white for matting and writing on
16 pces of 1" x 1" pces for patchwork, using two different dsp for contrast
brad or button to keep easel sitting up
I am just showing you the card with the matting down and the card folded ready to put the top on. Make sure you line up the two bottoms together as the top is 4" x 4" and so is the card. Hope that makes sense!
This is my patchwork ready to be stuck down. I like to put it down first and then change it if I don't like what I see.
So hopefully you will have as much fun making these as I did. I will start to post some Father's Day cards etc, as it is amazing how quickly that creeps up on us.

Nice and Easy Pockelope
Good morning,
Sorry I have missed a couple of days but the new term has started and it doesn't matter how organised I am, it is still not enough, so I will be working hard this weekend. I am going to start showing some Fathers Day products as that is only just around the corner. But today I have something I made earlier..... still love saying that, I'll have to start you-tubing so I can actually say it.
So today I have a pockelope to show you, there are quite a few out there in blog land.
How cute is it? I haven't made a card for the inside, so sorry about that, but the card goes in behind the bottom, chocolate dsp.
7" x 7" card scored in half diagonally, and one side at 31/2" as shown in the photo above.
23/4" x 23/4" dsp cut diagonally
21/2" x 21/2" cut diagonally as above
Fold down the corner. Turn the piece over, folded.
Score at 31/2" and 8". Use scor-tool to flatten creases.
This is what your pocket will look like when folded up, really a sweet way to give a card. The beauty is that you only need a brad to keep this all together. But before you do that, decorate your pocket with he dsp already cut.
As you can see I haven't completely finished this one but I have put a flower with a brad through it, like the first one.
Card: Riding hood red, dsp pack
Acc: Brad
Tools: Crop-a-dial, lge flower punch and boho blossom punch
Have a lovely day....

Box Carrier for any Occassion
Afternoon,
Hello and I hope everyone is having a great week! I find it going too fast but I will not complain! I have been having fun on Angie's site again and she made this adorable treat box which I think looks like a carrier, have to try out the milk cartons with this, so cute, as per everything out there in Stampin' Up world.
Angie has a tutorial on this as is most of what is on her site. I was going to try and put up some instructions but it is probably easier to go over to her site and check it out.
Stamp set: Got treats, one of my favourite sets
Card: Baja breeze, dsp - soft subtles and very vanilla
Ink: Chocolate chip and baja breeze
Acc: Mini library clips
Tools: Lge oval punch, scallop oval punch, Big shot and Box #2 die

Mini Chocolate/Pressie Bag
Hi All,
I also saw these on Angie Kennedy's blog and had to make them. I haven't tried a chocolate in their yet, as I eat them before they get close to where they are suppose to go! But I do think I will put in a little bag of malteezers, yummy!
How cute are they?
dsp 6" x 3" score 21/2" and turn scoring 21/2"
score 2", 21/2", 41/2" and 5". Cut the middle score lines and fold to make the box
51/2" white taffeta, placing ribbon just on the inside and taping into place. Punch 1/2" circle and secure with brad to hold flap down.
Card: dsp - soft subltels
Acc: Gold brad and ribbon
Tools: Paper piercer

Birthday Box and Cards to Make
Helloooo,
Two of sister's little girls just had their birthdays one week apart and besides giving them a little pressie I made this gorgeous box (sorry the stamp set is not available in Australia) and then cut all the pieces for them to make cards for their friends birthdays. I used the same stamp but told them they needed to colour them in. I cased this cute box from Angie Kennedy, been doing that a bit lately but that is because my study is now my craft room and I can look at a video and make at the same time. Love it!
I coloured with ink and the water pens and made sure they were slightly different so the girls could tell. The boxes are great as you can fold them down and send them away as well. The last picture is what I put inside the box for the girls to do - interactive present, he he he.
Card: So saffron, whisper white, dsp - soft subtles and basic grey
Ink: Stayzon, various inks for the fairy
Acc: flower brad
Tools: Paper piercer and mat pack
thanks for stopping by....

Pressie for a Friend
Hi,
A while back a friend, Angie (blog on side bar) sent me some bookmarks from convention and a cute card, so generous and so sweet of her so I wanted to send something back to her to say thank you. But, do you realise how hard it is to find, that special something as everything is so amazing,e and I can never choose. Well I found something so gorgeous and put chocolate in there as well. I am making another with a slight change and will do a tutorial as well.
A box of cards and of course, you have to add chocolate otherwise it is not quite a pressie!!
The inside and the cards that go with it. Sorry Angie, I don't have the 3 x 3 envelopes to add!
Just another couple of photos to try and show how cute the bag is. Over the weekend I will get that tutorial done and share it on Monday. Oh No! Back to school, how quick do the holidays go, they should be longer!

Chocolate Joy Fold Card
Hi everyone,
As we know I have gone a bit silly on the JAI Challenge this week, maybe it's the holidays..... not really sure but it has been fun. So I made two joy fold cards and here is my salutation only one:
I've never made a card with only words but I really liked how this turned out and I am so glad I have finally made a joy fold card. If it wasn't for the challenge I still would not have made one, and would have missed out on seeing how easy they are to make. I have the instructions somewhere but have moved everything again and can't find a thing!?!???!?!??!? Don't worry, I'll do a tutorial later in the year.
Stamp set: Eat chocolate
Card: Not quite navy, baja breeze, whisper white
Ink: Chocolate chip and not quite navy
have a lovely evening.....

Card That is Like a Mini Album
Hi Again,
I promised my second card that is similar to a mini album and here it is. So glad JAI had this challenge, it really inspired me to make these fancy cards. I still have the circle one to make because it is not as hard as it looks to make! You need to pop over there and have a look, or maybe Pratrice is just too good!!
love this paper, have had it sitting there for awhile, too scared to use it!!!
So one for a male and one for a female. I also have another joy fold to show you tomorrow, no pictures just words.....
Stamp set: Sense of time, I use a quote and then cut it in three and put it on the different pages as I couldn't think of what I wanted to put on the pages.
Card: Rich Razzelberry, certainly celery, chocolate chip and dsp - greenhouse gala and play date.
Ink: Chocolate chip
Acc: Ribbon
Tools: Paper piercer and mat, 11/4" punch
thanks for popping by.......
