Hi all,
I was going to post last night and couldn't think straight (too tired) so left it for today. I cased a card from Stamp with Heather which I have loved for a long time. Not sure on the colours I have used but I'll let you be the judge of that......
I have used the new dsp, ohhhh, just remembered that when you buy 3 packs this month, you get another one free. I have been waiting for this special, yeah, more dsp.
Stamp set: Hostess set - Faith in nature, teeny tiny sentiments
Card: Pool party, whisper white and dsp from the autumn/winter catalogue
Ink: Pool party and poppy parade and island indigo
Acc: Bright brads
Tools: Modern label punch, small oval, itty bitty shape punch pack, paper piercer and mat, sponge
I have been working on Teacher appreciation so hopefully tomorrow I will be able to show you a project.
thanks for stopping by and have a nice day..........

The Best Things In Life Are Made, Not Bought
Good afternoon,
It is cold here today and winter is fast approaching, thought I was ready for it but now I'm not so sure. Today's card is cased from Lynn at The Queen's Scene and I have used the totally tess stamp set. And yes this is back in 2010 as well. I really loved the design and I am back with all the bright colours as well.
I love all the Stampin' Up papers, and I go from loving brights, to regals to subtles etc. I just love all the card (as you may have guessed). I used the markers to colour in Tess, so easy and I don't do that enough.
Stamp set: Totally Tess
Card: Basic black, rich razelberry, pumpkin pie, lucky limeade, blushing bride and whisper white
Ink: Basic black and markers
Acc: Ribbon
Tools: Big shot, dot to dot embossing folder, 1" circle punch, crop-a-dial and 1/8" punch
thanks for stopping by......

A Box For My One Sheet Wonder
Hi everyone,
So as promised I made a box to fit all those wonderful cards into. Now there are a couple of things; I have a couple of score lines in funny places and that is because I kept getting my measurements wrong (I will be making another to show you later with all the right measurements!!) and I didn't have any more of my stamped sheet left so I picked out the dot card I made and used that design for my box (unfortunately I don't own that stamp set, it is Robyn's but lucky for me I loved the word 'create' and stamped a full sheet of it, lol). So here it is....
I used the circles to overlap and keep the box closed.
This box was created with a 12" x 12" sheet of card and when I make the next one I will put up instructions
thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day....

One Page Wonder
Hello to another day,
So today I have all the cards I made with the one page wonder. Robyn had us take an A4 piece of paper and stamp all over with a stamp set and the in-colours. I really love this look and it does mean that you can make the dsp what colours you want it to be. So one of the cards I showed you yesterday that Robyn had us make and now I am going to show you the rest and it does make quite a few.... (Oh the dingoes didn't get my chickens, very happy)
Sorry about these cards being a little blurry but they are 3" x 3" and I will make a box for them too.
I used the hearts sizzlets here, love these sizzlets that Stampin' Up are selling now.
Love spots and just had to make a card with them on and of course I had to emboss a few too.
A much plainer card and threw in a little more embossing
Ummmmmmmmmm!
Another slightly blurry one but it doesn't look that bad and the butterfly is vanilla embossed
A plain one using the simply scored scoring tool, you can just make out what I have done on the left side.
Ummmmmmm again.
My set using the one sheet wonder
And lastly the card from yesterday.
I hope this has you inspired to try it yourself

Finally, A Catch Up Day With Friends
Hello,
Well as promised I have something different for you. I caught up with a few Stampin' Up friends (demonstrators) today and it was so great, love crafting with friends. We always do a make n' take for each other so that is what I am going to show you.
Oh I have to tell you, the dingoes are out tonight! They are just howling away out there, I was only saying to my family that they haven't been around for awhile. What worries me is our chickens. They are penned up in a high fenced area but I don't lock them in their cage anymore so they can get out any time in the morning. It should be secure enough but I think I will start to lock them up, I would hate anything to happen to them. It is just that howling that gets to me!
Anyway, on to the cards we made today, well, mine is 3d, yeah I finally changed from cards........
This is one from Julia, which I love. I don't have this stamp set but I so love those words. Julia is very vintage and I always love seeing what she has come up with and am amazed at myself when it doesn't turn out too badly!!
This is Robyn's one page wonder with a card created above, had so much fun doing this and we even used the scented embossing powder which had us sniffing up a storm - vanilla, so nice
This is the rest of the page and I will let you wait and see what I have done with it tomorrow. I just finished making the last of the cards and you won't believe it but none of them are cased!!! Don't get disappointed, please, hehehe
And this is my 3D box to hold cards etc in. Wouldn't it be a lovely teacher appreciation gift. I have made this top one for Mother's day.
I ran out of pink brads but I love the elegant lines embossing folder on this one. I cased this one from Craft Project Central by Sharon Burkert. I am pretty sure it was a free tutorial but if you can't find it and would like to make it, just let me know and I will give you the instructions.
And last but not least is a fan designed by the very clever Heather and unfortunately she does not have a blog but I am sure she will soon.
thank you for stopping by and see you tomorrow......

Live with Passion
Hi,
Okay so my card fro today is cased from Margaret moody and you won't believe it (or you probably will), it is very similar to a card a did a couple of years ago. Not quite the same but close enough that when I finished I did wonder whether to show you or not. But anyway here it is....
I love the Inspired by Nature stamp set and am going to be upset if it is not in the new catalogue. Very clean and simple card, Margaret posted hers on 19/2/10, like I said 2010 was a very good year. I will give you a break from cards tomorrow night. I have a few other demonstrators coming to my home tomorrow for a play so I will have a bit to show you, no doubt. Always love our catch ups. I have made a really cute little card holder. But on to what made up my card...
Stamp set: Inspired by nature
Card: Whisper white, melon mambo
Ink: Old olive and melon mambo
Tools: Big shot and butterfly die
have a lovely evening........

Wishing You A Happy Birthday.....
Hello,
Another case today. At least this got me back into making cards and I do love it as then I have little gifts to give to friends, I pack up five at a time. Just a quick thing to grab as I am running out the door. So today's card is cased from Stamp with Heather (24/4/2010). I went through a real period of printing everything I loved. I have since learnt better and save it now, so much less paper!!
I know, I am into the bright colours at the moment, everything I have been ordering is 'brights'!
Stamp set: Happiest Birthday Wishes (hostess set) and
Card: Island Indigo, lucky limeade, real red, chocolate chip, pool party and whisper white
Ink: Chocolate chip, real red and pool party
Acc: Retired ribbon and bright brads
Tools: Big shot, Strips embossing folder, piecing tool
hope you had a great day, thanks for stopping by......

Casing One Of The Best, Try, Try And Try Again I Say!!
Good evening,
So you know how much I love making cards! I do! Well this week I decided to go through all those pictures I have been taking off the net and make some of these cards I have been admiring so much. Now let me start with the one person's cards I mess up all the time. I tell you, Chat's cards always look so sweet and simple and easy on the eye until I go to make them, then I realise they look nothing like hers! How does that happen?? You can find Chat's blog on the right side bar, (Me,My Stamps & !).
Unfortunately there is no date on my page so you can go back and check, no that is probably a good thing for me, I think I should be glad about that, hehehe
So here is my card....
Ummmmmmmmm, I know what you are thinking, but you have to try!! This is my new pack of dsp I decided to start using. It is in the new Autumn-Winter mini catalogue.
Stamp set: Word Play and Inspired by nature
Card: Whisper white, chocolate chip, pool party and dsp - twitterpated
Ink: Chocolate chip and pool party
Acc: Sale-a-bration ribbon and crystal effects
Tools: Big shot, elegant lines embossing folder, crop-a-dial, 3/4" circle punch and scallop edge punch
Thanks for stopping by.......

Sick As A Dog
Hello,
We are still on school holidays which ends this week and it has been lovely. Before Easter one of my brothers was outside doing some work at Mum and Dad's and tried to chop one of his fingers off. He was actually hammering in some stacks and got distracted and lucky for him (even though he had a very squashed finger) the doctors managed to stitch the top of his finger back on. My lovely son and I felt so sorry for him, we are very lucky in our family and don't end up with many injuries, that we decided to make him a little gift and a card. So I jumped on the net (as you do) looking for something appropriate. I found this very cute dog that I cased from Rhea Anderson. So I made a card and a pouch to put chocolate in. Yes chocolate is a cure for everything! So here it is......
A decorated block of chocolate and card...
Ohhhhh, my little dog looks sad doesn't he.....
Wanted to give you a close up.....
And the cute card with his doggie tag around him.....
Just kept the inside plain with a bit of sponging, into the sponging at the moment....
And look how cute this card is. I love it, sponged all over the front. He doesn't like it but I told him it was very artistic....
And the inside, I was very impressed with his efforts....
I am just going to write down all the punches I used for the puppy.
Tongue and Nose - 1/4" circle red/black
Eye - 1/2" circle white
Black part of eye - 1/4" circle yes, black
Eyelids - 3/4" circle cut in half and the colour of the dog which is chocolate chip
Ears - Word window punch chocolate chip
Stomach - Lge oval kraft/soft suede
Body - Wide oval chocolate chip
legs - sml oval chocolate chip
Head - 1 3/4" circle chocolate chip
Mouth - lge oval cut and rounded off kraft/soft suede
Inside of mouth - a bit of a petal from 5 petal flower punch
I added the smallest circle from the crop-a-dial for his tongue

Happy Easter
Wow, how quickly has that crept up on us. Wishing everyone a LOVELY, HAPPY AND SAFE DAY. I had the best day with my family. Cleaned last night and then cooked from 5.30 this morning until my family started arriving at 9am. It was great, managed to get everything made, so we had brunch first and then lunch. But I have something special to show you that a good friend, showed me yesterday. I like to think I am a good baker but I had sponge making lessons and it was great. Here is my first picture, just out of the oven....
I was so impressed, how high is this!!!!!! I made sure everyone saw it. And now on to the decorated version.....
I know what you are thinking! Very plain, but hey, I had spent all morning cooking and this is the best I could muster. I promise it will be better next time. So this is what made my day, my first ever homemade sponge.
Happy Easter xx

My Second Post For Today - Orange Bunny Carrot
Hello again,
With this post I did not leave myself enough time to make a card so hopefully if I get it made tomorrow, I will show you. Again I have used orange a lot as it is all about carrots!! I have put this little bunny together without really casing from anyone as I have made so many different ones in the past, so it was just putting the punches together and I must say I do like using the ornament punch as the head, so cute.
I really like the petal cone die and I expect I will be using it heaps more now that I have it.
Stamp set: Everybunny
Card: Pumpkin pie, whisper white (sponged), basic black, dsp - brights
Acc: Brights brads
Tools: Petal cone die, Big shot, ornamental punch, lge and small oval punches, wide oval punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, 3/4" punch, 1/4" punch, 2 different size circles from 2 step owl punch and heart to heart punch. The green leafy bit is just strips cut down a piece of card and attached in the centre.
Have a really lovely night and thanks again for popping in.......

My First of Two Posts - Today! Easter Bon Bon and Card
Happy Easter everyone,
We spent the day with friends and it was so relaxing and lovely, talk about seafood and lots of it. All very nice and I didn't over-indulge, don't you love that! So this is the first post I will be doing and it is of a gorgeous duck I have been wanting to case for awhile and finally got around to doing it. Sorry I don't have the name as I just took the picture and when I went on the site to check it didn't come up. If anyone claims this just let me know and I will give credit where credit is due (sorry again).
How cute is this little duck and I know that you think he is too big for the candy wrapper, but he is hiding it, ready for Easter.
My card I did to go with it, and yes I have been sticking with my 3" x 3", I actually like the size as I put a hole at the top and attach it to the gift.
For the card I used Stamp set: Everybunny
Card: Dsp - brights, pumpkin pie, so saffron.
Acc: Pumpkin pie ribbon
The tools I'll put at the end with the whole thing
And my set together, I love my little ducks, so cute....
Tools used: Candy wrapper die, Big shot, scallop circle punch, ornament punch, boho blossom, small oval punch, wide oval punch and 3/4" circle punch.
I sponged all the pieces and drew in the eye lashes with the journal pen and used the white gel pen. The black tear drop eyes were the middle boho blossom punch - two petals cut off in the shape
The feet are different on both ducks as I was experimenting. one set are using the scallop circle and I then used the small oval punch to cut off the shape and the other ducks were boho blossom using the small oval punch to shape as well.
Thanks for stopping by.....

More Easter Presents
Hello all,
So close to Easter now and all those chocolate eggs, though I must admit I have had my fair share now!!! I forgot to show you what else I made for Teacher presents that they got on the last day before holidays. I always give my son's previous teachers something as well as I appreciate all that they have done and for being a part of my son's life.
I have to make melting moments as everyone loves them, just needed to decorate them.
A close up of my tags
And a better view of the bags.
Tomorrow I will do two posts.....
thanks for stopping by......
So close to Easter now and all those chocolate eggs, though I must admit I have had my fair share now!!! I forgot to show you what else I made for Teacher presents that they got on the last day before holidays. Liebster Blog Award
Liebster Blog Award
What a lovely surprise when I went on Angie's blog and saw that she had named me as one of her friends to visit to receive the Liebster blog award. I felt very privileged that she thought of me but that is just who Angie is (very sweet).
"What is a Liebster Blog Award?", well "Liebster" is German for "Dearest". The award is a "Share the love arrangement", given to inspirational bloggers with less than 200 followers, to bring attention to their blog, and increase their following! I have to pick 5 more recipients whose blogs I think you would enjoy. Pop over to see what they've done...and become a Follower.
Here's the to do list for any of the Liebster Blog Award recipients.
1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award.
(Thanks again Angie)
2. Link back to the blogger who presented you the award.
(Find Angie here)
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
(See the pretty award on my sidebar!)
4. Present the Award to 5 other deserving bloggers with less than 200 followers.
(Read below)
5. Let them know they have been chosen by leaving a comment on their blog.
(I suggest you visit their sites - you're going to love their blogs)
So here are my picks and I hope you get as much inspiration from them as I do:

So pop on over to these lovely ladies blogs and check out what they have been up to recently. Don't forget to leave them a message.
Thank you again Angie for your award, you are too good.
Sweet Easter Bag Tutorial
Hi,
We are on holidays here for two weeks and it has been the nicest time. Sleeping in, lots of cuddle time and then into the cleaning, though today is all about friends so that gives me some of my time. And I have quite a few Easter things still to show you so I better get going. Here is a little bag that is so sweet and I am pretty sure that I have cased it from Chic 'n Scratch and of course she has tutorials on everything she makes but I have just done up a quick one...
Another picture showing the sides being put together
Bend the sides up to create above look
Put scallop edge card on top and adhere one side down
Tie ribbon around to keep in place or use some other method if you like
Decorate as desired. Front view
Side view
Back view
How easy is that to make and you have enough room to fit chocolates or a little present in.
Stamp set: Everybunny
Card: Whisper white, pink pirouette
Ink: Pretty in pink, chocolate chip and water crayons
Acc: Whisper white ribbon and twine
Tools: Scallop eyelet border punch, small oval and lge oval punches and crop-a-dial
