Good evening,
There is so much going on at the moment. This is a box that I started making last year. I got the tutorial (free) from Becky Roberts and have finally got around to decorating it. I used a background stamp on the card and then cut out 1/4" circles to make the pumpkin! and a scrap piece for the centre (green). I matted the basic black with pumpkin pie and then whisper white and used 'got treats' stamp set (which I love).
And there is my box that I love. I have another project from my son to show you (you can tell what we have been doing over the holidays) that I again, forgot to show you yesterday...
have a great evening.....

The Witchiest Box You Will Ever See
Hi All,
I am early today, just to surprise you all and keep you guessing. I have one of my cutest creations yet, to share with you. Well I think it is anyway, I absolutely love this box. I cased the witchy punch art from paper punch addiction, just one of the blogs I love to check out! The box I cased from Big Ideas from a little girl, also another blog I love to visit often. I think I had problems with the measurements on the box so I will do a tutorial myself for you.
Isn't she just the cutest, my all time favourite at the moment and I love my little spider (her pet) as well.
And I love my little spider, have been using him on quite a bit too over this Halloween. As I said I will do a tutorial on the box but the witch has the link and I'll just give you a quick rundown on punches I used:
Hair - 3 scallop circle punches, with two cut in half, one for the front, one for the back and the full one for the very back to cover everything.
Head - Ornament punch
Hat - Full heart which I just cut the bottom off and straightened the lines for a straight edge hat ( directions are to fold the sides of the heart towards the centre and glue in place.
Hat brim - Word window punch - dsp or like me I used a black journal pen to make stripes
Hands and nose - 1/2" circle, nose is just cut down a tiny bit in oval shape
Eyes - I just used scrap to cut tear drop shape
Sponge all edges. Hope that helps.
Stamp set: Got treats
Card" Old olive, pumpkin pie, whisper white, basic grey, basic black
Ink: Basic black
Acc: Ribbon, cotton thread, gel pen, black journal pen
Tools: Big shot, lattice embossing folder, crop-a-dial, 1" punch and square scallop punch, all the other punches are as above
have a lovely day......

Forgotten Bat
Hello
I meant to put this at the bottom of my post but my son was very distressed that I had forgotten to show you his bat. I will have a few things to show you of his as well seeing he was working with Sonja and I. So here is his little creation - all by himself - very proud he was.
See I just had to show you. He even put a mouth on his. I also had to show you a photo of the whole group of them, as he took this photo. I told him he should have put his at the front but he was very happy to have his at the back!!!!!!!!!!
thanks for looking.....

Bat Treat Cups
Hello,
We had a quiet day today, crafting as per usual, must start to do some house work!!!! I have been wanting to make these little Halloween boxes since I saw them on Patti's blog - Creations by Patti, she is unbelievable. So I made the same as she did with the basic black and pumpkin pie. How can anyone not love Halloween when you see all these cute creations????
I know these are not cups, but they don't look like boxes, well sort of cup/box's.
Pumpkin pie and the blurry version of basic black, think the sun was coming in at a different direction. Use petal punch to cut out 2 punches in basic black/pumpkin pie and fold up adhering the two together. That is your box made, now punch 1 3/4" circle and cut in half. Use a 1/2" punching along the straight edge to create wings. Use Owl punch to make eyes and you are done. How good would these guys look on the table, I think I'm definately going to have a Halloween party this year!

Flower Seed Tutorial - Halloween Style
Evening everyone,
I'm doing a class tonight over at Crafters Anonymous but thought I would write this tutorial before I start. I made this quite a while ago and put it on our demonstrator site and someone asked me for the instructions so I thought I would make this up, as it is so quick and easy and a great little gift to give someone special, even on Halloween! Mine is going to my Mum.
I do have to warn you, I use sticky strip all the time even for my 3D and sometimes it does come undone. You will have to use red tape for the pockets to keep them down unless you want to use brads, ribbon etc.
So this is what we are making:
somewhere to put seeds and a little card...
First we need:
Elegant eggplant 9" x 4 1/8" scored in half at 4 1/2"
Pumpkin pie 4 1/4" x 3 7/8"
Basic black 4" x 3 5/8"
2 times elegant eggplant 2" x 4 1/8"
2 times dsp 1 1/2" x 4 1/8"
Old olive tab 4" x 1 1/2"
1" circle in pumpkin pie
3 owls in whisper white
basic black circles from the 2 step owl punch for eyes
8" x 4" Old olive for card and scraps for decorating
Firstly I punched the dsp for the pockets and then put it aside
Next I cut off the feet and stuck the eyes to the ghosts and put aside
Sorry, forgot to mention the ribbon and I don't know how much I used but enough to wrap around and tie a bow. Use your corner rounder for the two matting pieces and stick on the elegant eggplant. Also I sponged all the edges so now would be a good time.
Punch a hole with the slot punch or a circle will be fine, this is for the ribbon to go through, from the back of the card.
Adhere the tag to the back of the card placing the ribbon through first, as part of it will be stuck down.
Bit blurry, sorry. Attach the circle to the front of the tag, ready to punch hole through.
Punch hole through with 1/2" circle or 3/4" circle (which is what I used)
Place on your ghosts and I also hand cut a BOO as I don't have the dies's yet, not the best, but they do the job.
Like I said, use your sticky strip on the bottom and top edge to hold pockets down, (unless you want to do something different)
Adhere pockets down and add dsp. As you can see I popped in a packet of seeds. I am also going to make some spiders, as I thought the card needed something more!!! I used 3/4" circle punch and after punching out scallop square, I then cut slithers off the card to create the legs.
Sorry, it might seem like I am all over the place, but this is actually how I made the whole thing. So now I made my card with the old olive and a piece of 3 6/8" x 3 6/8" pce of elegant eggplant for matting and another ghost and my first BOO. I didn't like this one with the writing on, I did actually cut it out without the writing but wanted it to stand out more. It just didn't look good enough though!!
Made my spiders and placed them on the flower pocket card and my little note card. I put a bit of sticky strip behind the circle punch and attached the feet as they were. I then used the whisper white and basic black eyes from the 2 step owl punch (everyone needs one of those owl punches, well I certainly do)
Our flower seed pocket all done with everything tucked away neatly inside. Needs the spider doesn't it!
This is to show you the one I had done earlier. How cute a present is that!!!
I hope you enjoyed and make one, so much fun.....

Finally Halloween Pumpkins
Good evening,
I know, I'm slack, but you will be happy to know, I have been working hard and trying to make heaps and I have. Tonight I have the really cute Halloween pumpkin (lantern style) that I love. Made heaps of them, and I will be filling them with some lollies closer to the day.
My first lot in pumpkin pie. I forgot to write down the instructions so I went back on to you tube to find it but there were heaps on there so if you are a visual person and need to see everything happening, take your choice, truly, there are quite a few videos on how to make them!!
I think I used soft suede here. All these pumpkins were run through the big shot with the polka dot die, gives them an extra oommmmph!!!!
Rich razelberry, how cute do these ones look. I don't have any stamp sets with the leaves in them so I just cut thin strips of card and rolled them around a pencil.
I couldn't find my other card to make the second one so this poor little one is on his own, and I have forgotten the colour I used, how slack is that!!
All the cute little pumpkins together. I so love these, what a great centre piece, you have to make some.....
I just know that I used 11 pieces of card cut 51/2" x 1" and using the crop-a-dial, punch a hole at each end. At one end, pull through ribbon (think 6") and secure with a brad. Pull up and twisting the separate card from left to right (taking turns) pull ribbon through and secure with a knot at the top and add your decorations. Like I said, heaps of videos on you tube.
have a lovely night......

Tissue Box
Hello,
I'm not showing you anything Halloween today. I have made some pumpkins that I will show you tomorrow, when I finish them. But for today I have a tissue box. A few friends were catching up for a crafting day at Mooloolaba and I managed to skip down there for a few hours. The only trouble was, leaving my bag with all my craft, behind. I know I seem blonde but I'm not. I think that is the silliest thing I have done in ages. Sonja very kindly handed some card etc to me and told me to make this tissue box. How cute is it. Tracey actually designed it. I was going to let you know the instructions but it depends on the size of the tissues to what size box you make so I will have to leave it up to you. My packet of tissues, I have at home didn't fit!!! So today is about ideas!!
Stamp set: Word play
Card: Very vanilla and dsp
Ink: Sahara sand
Acc: String
Tools: tiny tag punch
thanks for popping by.....

Another Halloween Box
Good evening,
We had a lovely day today, the weather was just right and I even managed to get a little gardening done. I made a box and card last week and this box is the same just a little different, to go with the same type of BOO card:
So I used the fancy die box but put a handle on this one, for something different and of course, those cute little cards.
Card: Elegant eggplant, basic black and dsp - newspaper print
Acc: google eyes
Tools: Big shot, fancy box die, 1/2" circle punch, paper piercer and mat and gel pen

Cute Witchy Owl
Hi everyone,
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend, it feels like summer here and it is only spring, don't know what is going on. Could be a really interesting summer this year. I still have a couple of Halloween items to show you and I really want to make some more so I will try and do another week. Tonight on Crafters Anonymous we made this super cute owl that Deb came up with and she made hers into a witch, which is what I was looking to do, seeing I picked the Halloween colours. Great class and I love this owl, so here she is:
Don't you think she is so cool!!!! Got her broom and she's ready to go!
Card: Elegant eggplant, dsp - soft subtles, whisper white and basic black
Ink: Concord crush (around edges)
Acc: String
Tools: Scallop oval punch, 1"circle, 3/4" circle, 1/2" circle, 2 step owl punch and heart to heart

Spooky Time Again
Hi all,
Today I have a 3" x 3" card and fancy box to show you, they are little ghost cards and the box is suppose to be the same, lucky for me it even says BOO on the box (suppose to be boot and I managed to cut it off at the right place without even meaning to!!) I also found this one on you tube, stampwithheather.
I have been so busy today making a sister swap, over at Crafters Anonymous but I won't be able to show you until after October, maybe. It just depends on whether my secret sister would like to guess/know who sent it to her. All very exciting, isn't it. I love making things for others but at the same time, I get anxious that they may not like it!! silly I know.
Anyway on to my box and card, BOO,
Oh no, this box missed it. I might have to make this a female ghost and put a little flower over the T so it says BOO
I know, it would look even better with lollies and chocolates hanging out of the box, oh well, next time....
Card: Basic black, concord crush and newspaper dsp
Acc: Gel pen, googly eyes, ribbon
Tools: 1/2" circle punch, Big shot and fancy box die

BOO To You
Hello,
I have made these darling door hangers. Sorry, I haven't put the lollies in them but Halloween is too far away and I don't want to get them dirty!!!LOL. I intend to put one of these on my sons door. I might even have to make up more for when we go visiting neighbours and they aren't at home! I found these on you tube, again, stamp with heather. She didn't make a door to take the lollies out of but I love the idea of being able to use again if you want to. So even though I tried not to put in a door........., mine have doors!
Aren't they just the coolest! I have never done anything like this before. I love Halloween.....
3 1/2" x 11" Black card
3 1/4" x 8 1/2" Orange card
3" x 8 1/4" Dsp or elegant eggplant
extra black for the backs and old olive so you can punch the tab punches.
If you would like a tutorial on these, just let me know.
Card: Basic black, pumpkin pie, elegant eggplant, whisper white, old olive
Ink: Basic black and sorry but I used an old stamp set. Need to buy the alphabet dies!
Acc: Ribbon and treat cups
Tools: 1 3/4" punch (for front card - treat cups), 1 1/4" for inner circles and top - cut a slit so it fits around door handles.
have a lovely afternoon......

The Cutest Witches Hat You Have Ever Seen
Evening,
I have made a lot of different triangles for different occasions but when I saw this witches hat, I fell in love. It is just the cutest and so cool for Halloween. I found this on you tube - stamp with Tami.
One in pumpkin pie...
One in old olive with torn ribbon to give a different look....
One one in concord crush....
Great for Halloween, don't you think???
11 1/2" x 4", fold in half, measure 2" on top and bottom and draw diagonal lines from the card end (at fold) to the middle 2" you just marked. You will have four diagonal lines (top and bottom).
1" x 7" - mark in 2" either edge and cut on angle. Stamp on card stock if desired, now.
3/4" dsp for above brim - I used card stock as above.
Modern label punch and stick glitter on.
Cut small square or size of dsp (card) to stick in middle of label punch - I used crystal affects so it would stick easily.
Use crop-a-dial to punch two circles in sides of triangle and thread ribbon through and tie off. If those instructions are too liberal for you, just let me know and I will do a tutorial.
