Fancy Bunny Box

Good morning,
  I have another challenge today.  I have been just writing the names of the challenges, but it is so much more fun to see the colours, like below, so I thought I better put them back up
 
And today, I made a fancy box with the bunny face.  That's right, I'm into Easter already.  And I have noticed they have more Easter eggs in the shops since Valentines.  Maybe that is what they were all waiting for.  It's terrible, but I can never wait for them to hit the shelves.  Here is my little box:

Stamp set:  Inspired by nature (sorry, you may not be able to see, but I stamped the box in versa mark,
                   more for the underlying effect)
Card:  Cherry cobbler, tangerine tango, baja breeze, not quite navy, kraft and whisper white
Ink:  Tangerine tango (I inked the white ribbon, and tied it up pretty much after I did it, so great)
Acc:  Whisper white ribbon
Tools:  Big Shot, fancy favor box die, 1 3/8", 3/4", 1/2" circle punches, scallop oval and lge oval punch

I also have one I made earlier (ohhhh, I love saying that).  I made it and wasn't happy putting it in the challenge so I changed the colours.  I cased the box from InkspiredTreasures.com.

Putting the box together is self explanatory but the punches for the bunny are:
1 3/8" circle  -  face
1" circle        -  cheeks so you need two
3/4" circle     -  inner layer of cheeks   (I actually don't have the 3/4" so I just cut down the 1")
1/2" circle     -  nose
1/4" circle     -  white of eyes
crop-a-dial    -  black of eyes
Scallop oval  -  ears
Lge oval        -  inner ears
I used the curly label punch for the handle (to tie it in with the box edge)
Scallop edge and paper piercer and mat for the not quite navy on the bottom of the box
Brads for the handle
Whiskers was just some scrap cut thinly
Big shot and fancy favor die and white gel pen for the eyes.
Very vintage roller and handle using tangerine tango ink

Easter Basket

Good morning,
  Oh, so sad Valentine day is over for another year, but now Easter is coming up.  I made an Easter basket from It's all about stamping.  I printed off the template and in my rush, used a retired colour.  One of my favourites by the way - broccade blue.

Stamp set:  Vintage vogue
Card:  Broccade blue (retired)  whisper white
Ink:  Broccade blue
Acc:  Brad
Tools:  Big shot, dot to dot embossing folder (I used the reverse side and stamped on it.  I really like this look and seem to be using it a lot lately).

I thought I would also show you this one I made last year with the so saffron, though my photo is not clear, but it was more showing you the flower I used here.  It is where we scrunch up a few layers of card (or in my case, computer paper) and then add a couple of boho blossoms and a brad to the middle. Vintage Scallop Card

  Happy Valentines for yesterday.  Sorry I didn't post but I didn't have anything spectacular for the day and that gave me a mind blank.  Lost the mojo, for the day.  Today is a different story though.  I cased a really cute card from Becky Roberts.  There is a pouch for the note card to go into and mine is wide enough to put a flat chocolate in as well (bonus!!)

This is the vintage card, but I also made one with just the pocket silhouette.  Just trying different things!!!

The card just comes straight out.  Sorry, I forgot to take a picture.
  I will give some basic instructions but if you need more, please let me know.
Card - black  -  scallop square (from the mini catalogue)
Front pocket  -  river rock  -  4 3/4" x 2 3/4"  scored  1/4", 1/2", 42/8" and 41/2"
                                                                         scored  1/4" and 1/2"
Matting  -  rich razzleberry  -  3 5/8" square
Whisper white  -  3 1/2" square
  Score and cut the corners (at the score marks) of your river rock.  Place tape on the bottom and sides, stamp image onto the card and punch 13/4" circle in middle.  Adhere onto your black square.
  Stamp image onto white card and then add tape and adhere to matting.

Ink:  Rose red, old olive and chocolate chip
Tools:  Big shot, square scallop and 1 3/4" circle punch

Valentine Milk Carton and Gift Card

Hi Everyone,
  I love doing the challengers, as it really pushes me to try harder and use my imagination more.  Though I must admit I struggle!!!!!!!!!!!  I have just completed the Just Add Ink Challenge and not sure what I think about it..............

The challenge was To Just Add Love.  I think I added a fair bit of loving.
Stamp set:  Teeny tiny sentiments, punch potpourri (level one hostess set) and Winter Post (the beauty of
                   some of the Christmas sets, is you can keep on using them during the year.
Card:  Riding hood red (yes, I love the colour), pink pirouette, chocolate chip and whisper white
Ink:  Riding hood red, chocolate chip
Acc:  Brad and clips assortment
Tools:  Full heart punch, spiral border, lge and sml tag punch and heart to heart
I did use a pattern for the box but I don't know where I put the instruction.  So bare with me and I will put them up on a later date.

Heart to Heart to Heart

Hi everyone,
  Another challenge, Cooking it up with Kate.  The challenge, this time, Use some red, Add a little ribbon and don't forget the corners.  Well I managed to do all that.
  I used a bit of tearing in this card, tore the side and adhered it back on.  I also tore some corners for the top and bottom left side.  I then versa marked the background.  Glittered my hearts and I think the rest is pretty visible.  So here is my card:

Stamp set:  Always
Card:  Riding hood red, pink pirouette and whisper white
Ink:  Riding hood red, rose red, regal rose, old olive, chocolate chip and versa mark
Acc:  Glue dote, riding hood red ribbon, glitter and 2-way glue

One Layer Card

Good afternoon,   I am playing the Styles Ink challenge again this week, and it is so hard, to just use one layer.  It always looks like it needs more.  But this challenge was to use two stamps (once) and no sentiment!  Well here is my best shot:

Stamp set:  Always, vintage vogue
Card:  Sahara sand
Ink:  baja breeze, pacific point, old olive, chocolate chip, regal rose and rose red
Tools:  Corner rounder

Time Passing

Hello,
  How quickly is time passing?  Before we know it, it will be the end of the year again!  I am doing the Inkspiration Challenge today, and trying to make another male card (wherever and whenever I can).  So here is my card:

I used the sanded background stamp (tried it in versa mark first but it didn't show up very well, so I used the marina mist which has shown up better.  I embossed the wheels with clear embossing powder and the rest is easy to see.
Stamp set:  Sense of Time, sanded background
Card:  Marina mist, cherry cobbler, basic black, whisper white and dsp - newsprint.
Ink:  Marina mist and basic black
Acc:  Clear embossing powder and dimensionals
Tools:  Heat tool.
