Cute Little bunny Basket

Good afternoon,
Yes I am posting in the afternoon, I have managed to get home early enough today to do an early post.  My son and I cased this basket from Chris Twing (I can't find the exact link to the project but I'm sure you will have fun looking).
This is such a great size basket as it holds a nice amount of eggs inside.
Side view so you can see exactly how big that box is...... very roomy!
And this one is my sons.  He wanted to do lots of different things on it, the sun and a baby rabbit, cute!
Basket:
Cut 2 circles 4 3/8" using the circle scissors
1 piece 6 1/2" x 7 1/2"
1 piece 1" x 8"
Lay circles on paper trimmer or if you are lucky enough to have the SU scoring tool (yes, I am lucky enough to have one, love it) at 3 1/2"
Score 6 1/2" x 7 1/2" at 2 1/2" from each side (7 1/2")
                                   at 1 1/2" from each side (6 1/2")
Cut middle lines to score lines to make box, fold and tape together.
Run strip of card through crimper and attach to box with adhesive.  Box finished
Now for the rabbit;
Body - 1 3/8" whisper white or other applicable colour
Head - 1 1/4" glued to body
Ears - 2 small ovals and I used 1/2" circle for the tail
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.......

Teacher Easter Gifts

Hi,
Finally got to do my post as I listen to that lovely rain.  I know we are saturated but I still love the sound of it.  Now on to today's post.  As you all know we have chickens that lay beautifully.  Love free range eggs, nothing like it.  Well for some special teachers I made up these boxes and put in the eggs.  Now these egg cartons are perfect and come from Big W, of course I had to eat the chocolates in them as they are sooooo good.  I still have to make some melting moments for them but this is just the start.
Not completely happy with the colours but they looked better together before I wrapped them around the boxes!!
All finished and ready to go!
Stamp set:  Every bunny
Card:  Retired card and dsp, whisper white
Ink:  Pens in different colours and watercolour crayons
Acc:  Ribbon
Tools:  Paper piercer and mat, 1 3/8" scallop circle punch and scallop circle punch.
Thanks for stopping by..........

A Bunny Or Not A Bunny, That Is The Question??

Hello,
I don't know what to post today.  Oh I just remembered, I told a friend that I would show her what my son and I made the other day, Easter, he was getting all upset because he couldn't get it perfect.  Truly you will not be able to tell which one he made but he went off to his room crying.  When he calmed down he came back out to finish it off, I think I have a perfectionist on my hands!!! Ohhh I don't think that is very good with craft, as I don't think anything can be perfect and how often do you look at something and think you could have done better!  Anyway here is what we made.... Umm, just give me a sec, it is still on my camera!!
This is his that he didn't like, I think it is so sweet.....
This is another one he did and one I did, both those are down the bottom.  (He actually didn't like the whiskers!!)
This is the backs of them which we did a bit differently.  I have previously made these bunnies here.  Sorry, I just went looking for it and couldn't find my post so I will put it up as soon as I find it.
And the little chicks were made here with the directions for the boxes.
Card:  Chocolate chip, pretty in pink, whisper white and basic black.
Ink:  Journal pen
Tools:  1 3/4" circle, lge oval, sml oval, 1/2" circle, 1 1/4" oval and, eyes and nose are from 2 step owl punch.
thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day....

Panda Punch Art Box

Evening all,
I almost went to be without posting but jumped straight back out.  I think I have missed enough time lately and I am trying to make up for it.  My son has been sick all week so I have had a chance to get a bit done and some craft too, so happy.
Anyway on to our Panda which I cased from Beth yet again.  Love her work, truly there are too many brilliant people out there in blogging world.....
Okay, he mightn't look the best on very vanilla, but I was a bit worried about using black and that different parts of him wouldn't stand out.  And I used very vanilla because I was worried about not standing out on the white as well, ummmmmmm, gotta try these things!!
How is out there Panda, was trying to do something different with his eyes but he does look a bit..... ummmm, out there!
So my box and card ready to go, don't worry they do look better in reality and at least you will know what not to do.
Once again Beth has instructions on her blog.  Tomorrow I will be back to normal and writing as many instructions as possible for you.
Thanks for stopping by.........

Loving The Rooster

Hi on this muggy weird evening,
I think it is the start of flu/asthma season, everyone I know is coming down with something (just as long as they keep it away from me - too much to do!!).  Tonight I have a card I have been meaning to show you for a while, this is from my good friend Angie when Creamy our rooster got attached by a goanna.  Such a gorgeous card, love it.

And here is Creamy.  You can't really tell from this angle that his beak is all off balance, but don't worry it hasn't stopped him with the girls.  He has recovered really well and we are so proud of him.
Thanks for stopping by and have a good night......

Circles, Circles, A Bag and A Card!

Hi,
Oh my, I was just watching Revenge, and gee that show keeps you on the edge of your seat.  Don't worry I was cleaning as well, lol.  So tonight I wanted to show you what I made for a party, Julie, who was holding the party, wanted to make a bag out of the catty so I made a template of one and cased a circles card from Becky Roberts (fell in love with it when I saw it) and here it is......
I so love these circles and will be doing more.  This is one type of bag we did.
And this was a case from the Catty but I actually like the one above more.
The card to go with it...
A close up of the flowers seeing I love them so much
And the two together.  Sorry, I haven't written down all the details of the products I have used but just let me know if you would like them.  I will get back into putting it up, and if you would like the template of the bag just let me know.
Thanks for stopping by.........

Monkey Face Fancy Box and Card

Evening,
Another punch art by Beth again and just as adorable though I don't know if mine really captures how cute he is.  Again she has the instructions on her blog and easy to follow....

I didn't know what salutation to use so I haven't put one on the card yet.  I'll wait and see what I need it for later down the track.
And the gift set altogether.  I'm really loving making the card to go with the box or bag.
Another quick post again today.  Tomorrow I'll show you what we did at a party I did a while ago.
Thanks for stopping by........

Giraffe Fancy Box and Card

Evening everyone,
I found another exciting blog and cased Beth's gorgeous boxes, she has all the instructions that are really easy to follow.  So tonight I am showing you this very sweet giraffe box and I decided I needed to make a 3" x 3" card to go with it.  And here it is.........
Ohhhh, I love punch art, I don't think you can ever have enough punches, lol.  Beth used the blossom flower punch which I don't have so I used the 2 step bird punch and just cut down the orange wings to fit inside the yellow ones.
The side of the box, must admit it has taken me awhile to sponge but it does make a difference.
And my 3" x 3" card with dsp from the Sale-A-Bration which is almost over for another year, so get in over the next couple of weeks if you would like some free stamps, dsp or brads and ribbon.
And my set finished ready to give to someone special.  Sorry I am short on time tonight and haven't written out everything I have used, if you would like to know, just e-mail me.
Have a lovely evening and thanks for stopping by..........

Pinata Birthday Cake & A Selection of tags for a Box

Hi,
Yes, I have been slack again, I have just taken on a couple of extra jobs, secretary at soccer and fundraising committee at school so I have lost the time to put into crafting, don't worry, I will and I still have a couple of things already made that I have to show you.  On the weekend we had a couple of different parties and one of them was a family party that I made this cake for.  I search the net on how to make the dome part and really thought it wouldn't come off but it did.  The only trouble is I had to transport it and that was all good until we turned on the air conditioner in the car and the roof caved in!!!!  Oh no, now everyone could see inside, very disappointed but it was still a very big hit.  The next time I wouldn't put a cake in there as well as they were really not interested AT ALL.
The cake with all the lollies piled high ready for the dome....
The cake, truly, everyone has to make one at least once, the kids absolutely loved it.
This is a little box I made a while ago and my big thing this year is about making cards etc to go inside so I can use them for little gifts
 Simple little tags....
 Some butterfly tags......
And some little note cards ready to be written on....
My box with everything inside it.....
Hope you are having a lovely night/day, thanks for stopping by.........

Lego Birthday Invitation

Hi All,
I have had a few days off but now I am back.  Today I am going to show you a card that I cased from Helen and was very impressed with.  She did a wonderful job and I pretty much cased exactly the same and proud of myself, making a Lego card, as my son is mad keen on Lego.  Well, we give out the invitations in the morning and when I went back in the afternoon I asked the kids what they thought.  Well I didn't ask, I gushed, so pleased with myself.  And they just looked at me blankly and said why it's just a card, and I said "NO" it's a Lego card.  They all went aaaaahhhhh, that didn't look like Lego.  Huh, I told them they were suppose to be better than adults and able to think outside the box!!!!!   You be the judge and see what you think............

This is a snip and tuck card.  I have made one of these before here where you can find the instructions.
Stamp set:  Birthday hostess set
Card:  Soft suede, so saffron, riding hood red and a retired blue
Ink:  Retired
Acc:  Scallop circle, 1 3/8", 1 1/4", 1" and 3/4" circle punches
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you liked the invite.....
