Hi everyone,
Well I am finally getting to the end of my Regional photos. Next I have something sweet from Sonja, my room buddy. So much fun, and we even got in some exercise with all the walking we did looking for 3" x 3" envelopes. I am sure Stampin' Up are the only ones that supply them here in Australia. I tell you!!
A purse with a surprise in there and a note book with acetate on the front for protection. And how cute are the charms!!!
Sonja bound and made the books herself - keen to that myself but there is just so many things I want to do, just need more time!
The inside of Sonja's purse with a post-it-note and tags.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.......

Regionals
Good evening,
Well I can really say, morning, as it is after twelve and I am still up. But I couldn't go to bed without showing you what the day had in store for us. Then I just have to show you Sonja's gifts to me and my favourite swaps from Regionals. Hope you haven't had enough yet, but don't worry, next week will be all about other things like Christmas!!!!
Love how the in-colours were all set out....
Demonstrated cards etc mainly from Sophie.....
Sophie did all the material items as well, how gorgeous do they look.....
Now on to the swaps from everyone, don't think they were all up there.......
And this is my favourite card. Claire showed us this one and I absolutely love it. Will look at trying to make this but you do need ink refills and I have yet to purchase some. I even love these colours heaps.
thanks for stopping by......

The Big Regionals Package From Angie
Hi all,
Okay, I have been talking about this amazing package from Angie, now let me show you. You are all going to be so jealous and want it too.......
So this is what she turned up with for me. I absolutely love this bag and feel so lucky that Angie gave it to me...... wait there is more......
Sorry, better give you a better look at the tag first....
I love this card, love punch art so much and there were some other little gifts in there but I forgot to take a picture.....
A stamp set for me with this black organza bag stamped and embossed....
I keep thinking this is a drink for me but it is bath oil, have to try and remember not to drink it. You must admit, it looks good enough to drink....
A little purse and some tags.....
A swatch of the material samples, thanks for that Angie.....
Love boxes and these are as cute as and with ribbon in them.....
Another box, oh wow.....
And yes, a gorgeous bracelet inside......
And yet another box, and with chocolate in it, yummy. Do you think they are still there....not a chance......
And another box.....
How gorgeous are these......
Yes this is all mine. I reckon I will be very busy making someone lots of Christmas presents!!!!!!!!!!
And look, she even thought of my amazing little man....
Now, he loves Angie too........ (I did manage to get two of those).
Now isn't that just amazing. I still can't take it all in. I'm just amazed she could make all that and still work and look after a family. Blow me away.
Tomorrow I will show you some cards etc from Regionals.
Have a lovely Thursday......

So Now For My Swaps
Happy Wednesday,
Hope you are all having a lovely day. My son was home sick so I did some gardening (long time since I have done that, but it so desperately needs it), tried to do a little house cleaning and then I need to start on my study. Would love to be crafting but!!!! So now on to my two swaps that I did:
I made 40 of these and so long ago it's not funny. Probably six months ago, I knew I would be going to Regionals and decided to start making my swaps because of study etc. And I am so glad I did, truly it came down to the wire if I could get any more done! So funny, Peta, another girl, had made the same thing and I thought I would just copy of her instructions on how she made it but as luck would have it, she didn't write any. So let me just go and see where I got those instructions from. The bag is just so cute and easy to make. The demonstrator I cased put the love hearts inside as well, looked very sweet. Well, I just spend 5 hours looking for it (had to cook dinner in between that) but I can't find it. Don't worry, I will go on a mission to find it again and let you know. But here is my other swap:
I made one and cut out all the pieces to take down to Brissy, to put together there, as Sonja and I were having a craft night. Well guess what? They took all night. I started putting them together at around seven and then by twelve I had to ask Sonja to help me (don't worry, she did offer, I thought I could get it done though!!) and we had finished by twelve forty-five. Oh yeah, so happy I had Sonja. This is her helping me.
And this is the finished product, at last, twenty-four of them!!!!
So for the pieces I used:
Hat: sorry didn't take measurements but a little square piece and use the corner rounder
Brim: word window punch - I know it looks small but that is the whole word window punch
Face: Wide oval punch - sponged with bashful blue
Eyes: Two step owl punch - large circles
Mouth: Two step owl punch - heart from the punch
Body: I used the circle scissors to cut 2" circles - sponged
Hands: 2 times 1/2" circle punch on dimensionals
Modern label punch for sign.
I used whisper white pad and sponge to dab on card for snow.
Big shot and two different embossing folders - dot to dot and elegant lines
Tear a piece of whisper white - I used very vanilla - and sponge to look like snow.
Thanks for stopping by.....

Fun Of Making For Regionals
Hello,
I am home early today, instead of me being sick, my son is now. It never rains, it pours. So I thought I would come into the office and study but thought I would do a quick post. What to do first??????? Mmmmmmmmmm, I will show you what I made for Sonja, would have loved to make a little more, so we could have presents on the pillow etc (we had a girlie night and had the best time - I haven't done that since I have had my son) but I was so sick leading up to it (as if you didn't know) and just had all the stuffing knocked out of me. Hence I didn't get any time to do those extra little things. Doesn't matter, we had the best time anyway. I think everyone needs to have more 'girlie time' (and 'boy time' for the men) it is so nice to talk all night etc. Now on to what I made for Sonja:
I am sure I have made this wallet before and I don't have the instructions handy, so I will make another in the next couple of weeks to let you know what they are! I used the Letters to Santa dsp as I you can use this as a Christmas gift or birthday present. Love this Christmas dsp, really nice in person, when you start making it up. Instead of making cards they are note fronts, just for something different. I like that a lot, just a bit informal.
Okay so I will see you tomorrow for my swaps that I gave, and I promise to have the instructions - punch art (oh yeah!). Still have to show you Angie's presents she gave me and that will blow you away.
ps: just had a look back and can't find it so I will make another to show you definately
have a lovely avo........

Brisbane Regionals
Hi All,
I know, missing in action, not happy about it. Just so much going on and a couple of big presentations at Tafe are finished, so hopefully I get to craft a little more and update my blog daily again. I will still put up that tutorial, I was going to show you last week, sorry, I did start it, but was just so sick, I couldn't finish it off. That will be after I show you some fab pictures of Regionals. I had the best time. Caught up with all my buddies, that I haven't been able to see since I started my course at Tafe, miss all the Monday get-togethers now!!! And I caught up with the infamous 'Angie'. That was so exciting, and guess what, she is as funny in person. Had the loveliest day with her and felt like I have known her all my life. Gorgeous, sweetest person ever. I also got to finally catch up with Sue Rowe, who I looked for all day at last Regionals, thankfully it only took me half a day this time. And I also caught up with some Crafter Anonymous friends, well if they weren't before, they are now. Like I said the best day. I don't know what to show you first. Today I will start at the beginning and show you what I made for Angie:
#2 box die with soft subtle dsp and almost amethest butterflies with little tags
I made a Christmas ornament for Angie (she loves purple and that is why I have stuck to that colour scheme) using the pumpkin instructions (I wrote up earlier)
I had to contain myself not to show you the little book below but this was a muck up and I loved it so much, I had to give it to someone and what better person than my friend Angie. I was making it during the holidays when Sonja was over and we cackled and cracked ourselves up over it. I knew Angie would appreciate it!!!!!!!!
Are you impressed with everything I made her, well I was too until I saw what Angie made me (I will show you that tomorrow, OMG, OMG, I have so much to make her for Christmas. I actually felt like I was having Christmas when I went through all her goodies today, OMG again.
I will just show you everything I made today and if I need to give you any extra instructions I will do that on another day. Or if you would like to know anything before hand, just send me an e-mail.
Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day. Oh you may want to see the infamous Angie, well here she is in the flesh. I was taking the photo, so I'm not in it (still need my computer to work, so that was lucky) and she is here with Sonja who you probably feel like you know, but will talk about us tomorrow.
This is us (well Sonja and Angie having breakfast before we headed off for Regionals). More tomorrow......
have a fun night......
